The Learning Center at Third Street Alliance, a PA star 4 facility (the highest level of accreditation) since 2006, provides childhood education for children 6 weeks old up to age 13 for all families, regardless of income. We also provide summer programming as well as wrap around care for school-aged children.
Our staff is certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and several hold Associates and Bachelor degrees. In addition, we have a child behavioral health specialist on our team, who acts as a resource to teachers and families.
The health and safety of our students is of primary importance.
The Learning Center is a fully secure facility. All visitors are screened at the door, access to classrooms is restricted to only authorized personnel, and classroom visitors are required to undertake background checks.
Hygiene is part of the classroom daily routine as we work diligently to minimize the spread of germs.
Our program includes daily physical activity either on our playground or in our gym during inclement weather. We also have enrichment programming to encourage the development of both fine and gross motor skills.
Throughout the school year students participate in units pertaining to dental hygiene, nutrition, and hearing and vision screenings are also offered during the school year.
